Plan drawing of the BavariC38
The new C-Line started with the BavariC42, which celebrated a highly acclaimed premiere in January at boot Düsseldorf, sold well and was nominated for the title of Europe's Yacht of the Year. The smaller sister followed as planned in the autumn and was able to be test sailed and inspected by the YACHT as part of the internal shipyard tests in Neustadt.
The smaller sister has the features and advantages of its larger relatives: V-bow for more buoyancy and space in the foredeck, hard, long chines for increased stability and space in the stern, optional fixed bowsprit and various options for main sheet guidance. Two or three cabins below deck, with a second wet room in the foredeck on request - quite common at 42 feet, but the exception at 38 feet.
Another special feature: The C38 was to combine the advantages of the 42 on 38 feet, but be significantly cheaper - with a similarly high hourly load in the production process. This was partially achieved by using the same parts and omitting them.
