The C38 follows the already successful C42 (see test YACHT 16/2020) and is the second completely new ship in the revised upscale shipyard line. The construction of the Italian Maurizio Cossutti is visually independent due to its large width, the non-tapering stern, long chin, kinks and edges in the hull and superstructure as well as a protruding bow and thanks to these measures also brings a very voluminous interior with the even the identical aft cabins are generous.
In the test, the boat impressed with its very pleasant, agile sailing characteristics, a well thought-out, flexible deck layout, many successful details and a modern and technically clean expansion. You can read the test in YACHT 1/2021 (on December 16 at the kiosk, on December 12 by subscription).
