The Most Beautiful Harbors And Anchorages In Strelasund

Due to the corona, many sailors completed this year's holiday trip back home. Quite a few discovered the fascination and beauty of the German coastal and inland areas for the first time - and were thrilled.

In the past few months we have repeatedly described some of these areas in detail and provided them with many trip recommendations, navigation tips and suggestions for going ashore. In YACHT, issue 23/2020, we present the Strelasund in detail, the body of water between Barther and Greifswalder Bodden.

This is a largely natural area, perfect for beginners, but also for experts - it offers perfect protection in the event of a storm out on the Baltic Sea. Numerous beautifully situated harbors and anchorages alternate on both sides of the bank of the Sound. Stralsund and Greifswald also have many sights to see, and the coast of Rügen is ideal for exciting excursions.
