Idea 21: Do It Yourself On A Tight Budget

Character: The designer gave the boat many edges and a high structure

The southern German baker Milos Pupal implemented the plans of the Sardinian designer Christian Pilo as an autodidact on his own. Its type Ide21 was made of plywood over frames. The rig, individual fittings, the oars and the casting mold for the keel were also made by hand. The result is an individual sea dwarf with a large open cockpit, lifting keel, an open interior and wet room as well as many simple and well-functioning solutions. The 6.70 meter long boat is 2.50 meters wide and weighs 1.2 tons, which makes it easy to trailer.
