The brand new NautikE Visitor website of the Croatian authorities is now online and saves skippers having to go to the port office with possible waiting times and queues and should therefore be very welcome in Corona times. On top of that, the Croatian government has decided to reduce tariffs by 20 percent this year.

The fee can either be paid per person and day or by ship according to the length of the boat and the duration of the holiday. The former version is probably cheaper for everything for shorter stays and smaller crews. Payment is made by credit card, the confirmation is then sent to the customer by email. Crews who have chartered usually settle the tourist tax through their charter company at check-in.
