At first glance, the chimney edges of the Sailart 18, which run diagonally upwards from the wavepiercer bow, look very distinctive, almost aggressive. But Frank Störck, owner of the Sailart shipyard, holds that his new one is by no means a regatta boat, let alone a racer; on the contrary, the design was deliberately detached from the construction class of the microton truck. Nevertheless, its sporting genes can be seen in the 18-series - even if it is primarily intended to be a fast-paced leisure vehicle instead of scoring points on the regatta course.
