The boat is more reminiscent of a shrunken Open60 racer than a classic Swan. No wonder, after all, the Argentine designer Juan Kouyoumdjian was responsible for the design, who has also made a name for himself in this scene.

The ClubSwan 36 is a pure racer, offers nothing below deck that could be described with the attribute comfort. On the other hand, the technical data are all the more remarkable. It weighs just under three tons and is eleven meters long, including 1.2 tons on the 2.75 meter deep keel. Above that, 93 square meters of sails, 59 of which are large plus 134 square meters of gennaker, which quickly provides space sheets for gliding.

There is something special in the front part of the boat with the C-sword. This can be rotated to leeward or windward within a closed box and is intended to help the boat to gain more height on the closewind course and to raise the bow bulkhead a little.

The YACHT sailed the ClubSwan 36 as part of the sighting for Europe's yachts of the year off Barcelona. There are impressions in the gallery.
