The hull has remained, as is the basic idea of the fast, but easily sailable boat. The designers at Judel / Vrolijk and the in-house technical department at Hanseyachts have improved a lot of the rest. Here more space, there a new window, improved hatches or modified surfaces - just small examples. The tactic of taking small steps is quite common in the strategy of large-scale shipyards. Competing yachts like the Bavari37 or Jeanneau's Sun Odyssey 389 are also based on older designs.
The Hanse 388 is easy to operate, and thanks to the line management placed completely aft, it can also be operated perfectly on its own. The performance is right, and the living comfort also turned out to be decent in the test. In addition, the boat can be easily adapted to individual wishes via the various surfaces and options. In combination with the attractive price and special seasonal conditions, the Hanse 388 becomes a complete package that anyone looking for a series boat of this size has to look at - as a benchmark alone.
