With a weight of less than 30 kilograms, they are still easy to carry, do not take up much space and, on top of that, bring along a small alternator as an extra. With these properties, the area of application is wide. The current generation of outboards is represented by products from Honda, Mercury, Selva, Suzuki, Tohatsu and Yamaha. The YACHT tested them: Who will win in the categories of speed, consumption, range and smoothness?
