The MarinFrapDubrovnik had long been completed at the gates of the famous old town. The footbridges and quays a little north of the old town near Gruz have only now been granted the necessary operating permit - and the Marinnun is going into operation from today. The project was implemented by the owner of MarinFrapin Rogosznic, hence the name is identical to the sister plant further north. The new address is very welcome, because Dubrovnik has been suffering from a shortage of berths for years, which had led to quite a price rally in the ACI-Marin. Seats were difficult to find, especially on weekends in summer.
There are now 179 berths for yachts between 10 and 35 meters at the new jetties, and the Marin is to be expanded to 220 berths by the end of 2019. There is a special area in the south of the marina for yachts up to 50 meters in length. In addition, up to three mega yachts up to 70 meters in length can moor on the heads of the central T-bars.
The management mainly aims at owners of yachts between 15 and 50 meters in length, for which there were few berths in Croatia and almost no berths in Dubrovnik. Accordingly, the price list only starts at 14 meters in length. For all boats below, no matter how small they are, a unit price of 170 euros per night is due in July and August, and 130 euros in the off-season. However, the nearby ACI-Marin is only cheaper during the week, at the weekend it is at a similar level: There, in the season (June 1 to September 30), 165 euros are to be paid on Fridays and Saturdays for a 14-meter yacht, from Sunday to Thursday 108 euros.
