The Lübeck Waterways and Shipping Office announced that the bridge will be officially closed from May 10th to 20th due to construction work. However, there are still two to four openings per day for recreational shipping so that the Schlei does not become a complete dead end at the point. Yachts are only allowed to pass through the main opening of the bridge at the times specified below.
After a long silence, Deutsche Bahn has finally commented on the further progress of the work on the new building project, as the regional newspaper "Schleibote" reports. The construction work that has been announced for some time should actually begin this year. Due to the complexity, however, four years are estimated for this. That is how long Schlei sailors have to live with the restrictions.
