The overall concept of the refit of the Dehly25 did not envisage a full-fledged small cruising yacht, but a weekender with which one or two people can go on a trip for a few hours or over the weekend - only breakfast on board, food on land in the restaurant, urgency in the port. Therefore no built-in toilet, no full-fledged pantry - just a cooking box that is as inconspicuous as possible and does not take up any space in the interior, that offers the essentials to boil coffee water, should allow water for freeze-dried meals or at most meals that are prepared in a pot can. In addition, she had to pick up a few glasses, cups, cutlery, spices, a bowl and the like. Somehow the wish list got longer and longer.
In YACHT, issue 17/20, you can read what has come of this under these conditions and what needs to be considered when planning a mini pantry. In addition: advantages and disadvantages of various cooker systems, from gas to alcohol to electric. YACHT 17/2020 can be ordered here as a print version or digital download.
