The Interboot starts in Friedrichshafen next Saturday, September 19th. This means that the opening of the European trade fair season is getting closer, after one fair after another with Cannes, LRochelle, METS and the Southampton Boat Show was canceled due to the corona pandemic.
The current situation should be countered with a sophisticated hygiene concept, special rules and sufficient distance. The focus is on security for visitors and the planned 200 or so exhibitors.
The hygiene concept of the fair includes the obligation to permanently wear a face-to-face mask in all areas, increased cleaning intervals for door handles, handrails and sanitary facilities as well as glass and plexiglass partitions in the service areas. Wide corridors and a wayfinding system with distance markings on the floor should also ensure that visitors are adequately protected.
You can read the full preview of the 59th Interboot Friedrichshafen including an overview of the boat innovations in the new YACHT 20/2020. The magazine is now available at the kiosk and in the Delius-Klasing-Shop or can be ordered directly here as a digital edition
