If the gelcoat is no longer so beautiful and a little more attention is needed, we use a special mixture. One part of a coarse grinding paste is mixed with three to four parts of a fine polish from Starbrite, the resulting mass is applied with a brush. After drying, i.e. about 10 to 20 minutes later, polishing is carried out with a buffing wheel at around 1400 revolutions per minute. This can be repeated if necessary. Then the surface can be sealed with a wax.
