Colorful program
As in every year, the program is diverse, says Horns and does not want to mention all the points - because that has also been part of the concept for more than twenty years: The guests are surprised during the course of the evening. From regatta outlooks and reviews, travel reports and such about current restoration projects. In any case, the short presentations will be accompanied by top-class photography. Also compulsory: the annual freestyle of the winners of various Freundeskreis prizes.
Exciting topics
Some of the topics are known in advance this year. The 25th anniversary of the "Hamburg Summer Classics" regatt will be the subject of a review, as will the 2016 regatta season in general. In the foyer, Kerstin Schulz presents her photo exhibition "Boat building up close", which has been telling the story of the restoration of the 45 national cruiser "Gaudeamus" and the construction of a similar ship from an artistic point of view since January 26th in the Seemuseum Kreuzlingen.
