When the days are slowly getting longer and the owners are already nervous, then the organizers of the Freundeskreis Classic Yachts let the past review pass one last time before the new season begins.
Versatile agenda
As in previous years, the program includes a review of the 2018 classic season in pictures by Sören Hese. Nico Krauss will also be represented with a photo lecture on the ThemSchärenkreuzer. There are also special highlights, such as the travel report of the "Hera" crew, a young family who took their parental leave as an opportunity to travel to the Caribbean.
Coveted silver
Last but not least, numerous prizes are awarded at the winter meeting. The Freundeskreis honors the best seasonal performance at sea with the "Baltic Sea Cup". And the regatta winners of the 2018 season will also be announced and honored here. The results of the regattas Max Oertz, The Run, Klassiker-Rendezvous, Svendborg and the German Classics are included in the evaluation for 2018.
Meeting for everyone
The winter meeting traditionally takes place in the Hamburg Museum für Völkerkunde (now MARKK) - this year on Saturday, February 2nd at 7:00 p.m. Entry is free and open to all classic fans; neither membership in the FKY nor invitation or registration are required.
