Cantiere del Pardo has now announced in a press release that Fabio Planamente and Luigi Servidati are the new majority shareholders of the shipyard in Forli on the Italian Adriatic coast. Both have previously run the company as executive managers. This management buyout is apparently accompanied by a capital increase of five million euros, which now enables the shipyard to invest in further growth and new developments for the brands Grand Soleil Yachts, Grand Soleil Custom and Pardo Yachts (motor boats). At the head of the newly organized company are now Luigi Servidati as President of the Board of Directors and Fabio Planamente as CEO.

To date and since 2014, Luigi Trevisani's financially strong Italian family of entrepreneurs has held the majority of the Cantiere del Pardo shipyard and its renowned Grand Soleil brand. Incidentally, fellow competitor Sly Yachts also belongs to Luigi Trevisani's group of companies. Cantiere del Pardo was previously part of Dufour Yachts and thus indirectly also to BavariYachtbau.
Cantiere del Pardo is the largest series manufacturer of sailing yachts in Italy. Sales will rise to over 30 million euros in 2018. In the last three years, in addition to the line of its beautiful and sporty performance cruisers, the shipyard has set up a second shipyard program of long-distance cruising yachts with the types Grand Soleil 46 LC (test in YACHT 14/2015) and 52 LC (YACHT 2/2018). The shipyard has been producing since 1973 and has so far built over 3900 yachts.

The latest ship from Cantiere del Pardo is the new Grand Soleil 48, which comes on the market in two versions as a performance cruiser or as a thoroughbred racer made of carbon fiber. This ship will have its German premiere at the boot trade fair in Düsseldorf in January and is also proposed for election as Europe's yacht of the year 2019. The YACHT will bring the detailed test in one of the upcoming editions.
