Trial Fitting With The New Swan 65

The renowned Finnish shipyard Nautor really got off to a flying start in 1974 with the Swan 65. Hull number 3 "SayulII" surprisingly won the Whitbread Round the World Race, the long-term forerunner of the Volvo Ocean Race. The Ketsch was the big serial boat of its time.

Now Nautor has brought a 65 again, a comparison suggests itself. What do the constructions by Sparkman & Stephens and Germán Frers have in common, what distinguishes them, what has happened?
