In the multihull special in issue 24/2019, YACHT responded to the trend towards using the flybridge for smaller catamarans as well. The trigger for this was the announcement of Bali Catamarans, which with their new catspace have implemented both the steering position and a sun lounge on the upper floor - a novelty on the market. The Catspace was presented as a novelty by Bali in January at the trade fair in Düsseldorf.
Now Aventur wants to raise the bar even higher for concepts of this kind. With the now announced Aventur37, the shipyard is introducing a boat with a hull length of only 10.90 meters, which also has an extensive sun lounge on the second floor, and a lounger and seating area on the flybridge. The steering position of the new Aventuraber boat is only attached to the side at half height. A second area for relaxing and sunbathing is provided on the foredeck, where a nice and large sunbathing area can also be set up with additional cushions.
The construction comes from the LastDesign Studio and shows voluminous hull shapes that taper significantly to the waterline via striking edges, plus strikingly large windows in the freeboard. The position of the rig is conventional in front of the cabin superstructure. This means that the overlapping genum with hole points on the cabin roof is the standard, a self-tacking jib will not be feasible. AventurCatamarans has not yet published the information on the mast height and the exact sail areas. It is said from Tunisia that the concrete sailing plans are still being worked on.

The shipyard has also announced surprising things about the expansion below deck. Variants with three or four cabins are available here, and for use in the charter market even up to four separate wet cells will be possible. In this boat size, the variety of layouts and the offer of four cabins, each with their own toilet rooms, are currently still unique. The different layouts are shown in the picture gallery above.
With the Aventur37, the shipyard closes the gap between the small Aventur34 (Test YACHT 14/2018) and the larger Aventur44. The first new ship should be ready by the end of 2020. AventurCatamarans has further expanded production for the new model in Tunisia and is planning an edition of 25 new Aventur37 boats for the next two years.
The shipyard had actually planned to present the new Aventur37 model in mid-April at the multihull trade fair in LGrande Motte. Unfortunately, these plans had to be buried with the cancellation of the trade fair due to the corona pandemic. It was also planned to announce the prices at the presentation. The shipyard is therefore currently still working on the cost breakdown. Only this much is known: The basic price for an Aventur37 should be less than 230,000 euros (net).
