The Temo weighs just five kilograms - and it is supposed to move small boats and kayaks through the water for up to 80 minutes. This is ensured by a 450 watt motor, which is fed from a 290 watt hour battery in the rod of the electric wrigger. In fact, the outboard is more reminiscent of a rigging paddle than an engine. Nevertheless, the advance can easily be called up using a pistol grip on the rod. A switch there even provides thrust aft, if desired. According to the manufacturer, the performance is comparable to that of a 1.5 HP petrol outboard.
Of course the whole thing is waterproof. Charging takes place with 12 or 230 volts, and the Temo is built in France. It is sold through the website. The Temo costs 1438 euros.
The Dame Award is usually given during the annual Mets in Amsterdam. This fair is the largest of its kind for all types of boat accessories worldwide and is only open to trade visitors. This year it will take place virtually. The lady's jury has also found the winner virtually and has just announced it in a video link.
