The German manufacturer Alb-Filter calls its two product lines of interest to sailors Travel and Mobil. The mobile models can be spliced into the filling hose using the Gardena coupling, which means that the water is cleaned during the bunker and that dirt or germs do not even get into the tank. The travel variant can be permanently installed in the drinking water system.

Different cartridges with activated carbon or hollow fiber membrane can be used to remove bad taste and chlorine or germs. The double housing, called Fusion, takes two cartridges and thus removes germs and chlorine residues at the same time.

The shelf life of the inserts is given as six months or 8000 liters of water.
Prices start at 150 euros. The mobile filter set with double cartridge against germs and chlorine costs 300 euros. Replacement cartridges are available in a set of 3 for around 70 euros.
