The Ledlenser ML6 has long been on the market and popular with hikers, not least because of its very compact dimensions. The lantern measures just 17.8 centimeters by 3.7 centimeters, and it weighs only 139 grams - values that also impressed in our test in YACHT 21/2018. We liked the illumination just as much. The light is almost continuously dimmable from 20 to a maximum of 750 lumens, there is an SOS and strobe mode. The red light, which does not dazzle and is also sufficient to illuminate the entire cockpit in very dark, is very practical.

The only disadvantage was the cold white light color. Such work lighting simply does not create a cozy evening atmosphere. The new version with the nickname Warm Light is equipped with other LEDs with a lower color temperature and should create a pleasant ambience.
