The Chalkidiki peninsula with its three long fingers, near Thessaloniki, is one of the last areas in Greece that is rarely visited by yachties. There are hardly any charter yachts there, the area has a few tourist centers, but in between it sails like in the rest of Greece 30 years ago. However, the region has poor marina infrastructure. In addition, the season is a little shorter because the high mountains in the north send cold air masses into the area in autumn and spring.

All the better that MarinMiraggio, which belongs to the hotel of the same name, is a new address in Paliouri. Around 80 yachts fit into the small harbor located directly in front of the luxurious complex. The pool is 4.5 to 10 meters deep, there are water and electricity connections, a gas station and WiFi. The facility is guarded 24 hours a day. In the hotel, visitors will find a total of nine restaurants and bars and, for a surcharge, can use the thermal bath's spa area. Winter storage spaces are also available.

However, the service has its price: in July, a 12-meter yacht costs around 100 euros per night including VAT.
