With its 7.68 meter long hull, the Mariner 26 is located in the area between the small cruiser and the large cruise ship. Due to the maximum width of 2.55 meters, it can be trailered, but there is a separate aft chamber and a toilet room below deck, which immediately gives the feeling of being on a large ship. In addition, she is very stable in the water despite the folding keel, which gives a safe feeling even when you are in port.
The conditions on the test day were borderline with 16 to 30 knots of wind, but the Mariner still did well
The size is attractive for small crews or families with children, thanks to trailerability, changes of territory are no problem, and winter storage costs can be eliminated if a private parking space is available. Nevertheless, the Mariner has four full-size berths (plus the saloon benches), pantry and bathroom, everything that is necessary for longer trips. A folding keel with more ballast for coastal areas and a fixed keel are available as options. There is also a wheel control on the option list.
Like on a large yacht: separate aft compartment and door to the toilet room
