Lagoons Next Successful Model?

The shipyard, which is part of the Beneteau Group, plans to build 600 boats in the current financial year and double its capacity in the medium term. The new Lagoon 46 should be a growth driver. The construction of the trendy office VPLP is equipped with a flybridge and central steering position as well as two side staircases, a rarity. Only the Kat from Bavaria / Nautitech offers this feature in one variant. The rest of the competition from Bali 4.5, Fountaine Pajot New 45 and Leopard 45 come with half-height steering positions. The lagoon is also noticeable due to a rig with a self-tacking jib and the projecting hulls. The latter create more space inside, which primarily benefits the forward berths. The boat is available with four cabins and four heads, or the starboard hull is fully equipped as an owner's cabin with a lounge office, a separate toilet room and a huge bathroom.
