The boat is based on the Hanse 345, but brings with it various changes. "I don't want to talk about an overhaul, this is a new ship," emphasizes Pascal Kuhn, product manager for sailing yachts at Hanseyachts. The new ship offers a longer mast, more sail area, a different keel program, changes in the deck, in the look especially below deck, and there are options for expansion and layout.

During the test on the Greifswalder Boden, the home area of the shipyard in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the boat proved to be a rock-solid, well-sailing, sufficiently stiff ship that is pleasant to steer and very easy to operate.
