The boat inherits the Hanse 345 and should score with more sail area and many small improvements. For this purpose, the Judel / Vrolijk construction was optically integrated more strongly into the series; there should no longer be any major stylistic differences between the large and small boats.

In terms of sailing, the Hanse 348 showed itself to be strong in the test: balanced with light pressure on the rudder, stiff even with strong heel and the good speeds easily accessible. With a self-tacking jib and halyards, sheets and straighteners that are guided completely aft, the boat can also be used with one hand and is well suited for the small crew. Test soon in the YACHT.
