Headroom: The do-it-yourself cat with circumnavigation equipment has a headroom of 2.20 meters
The Kat became the biggest project of his life: The Rhinelander Thomas Stinnesbeck bought the building plans over 25 years ago. Ten years ago, the hearing aid specialist produced a two-meter-long model. Then he built a hall by his own hand.
And the actual construction began six years ago. It is now closed, swims and sails. The result of the effort is impressive: 20 meters long, almost half as wide, 22 tons in weight and equipped for the long, long journey, and full of unusual ideas.

The Kat almost fills a lap pool. One lap around the boat is 70 meters
