Professor Dr. GiselMüller-Plath sails with her students in the service of science. The question is how modern navigation electronics should be designed. The perception psychologist's hypothesis: The devices are both a curse and a blessing. How they must be designed and how they should be used so that the advantages outweigh these questions - these are the questions that concern the participants in a research project she initiated.
Report in the current YACHT
The past season served to work out various tests that are to be carried out in the Bodden waters in the coming summer on the Hornet 32 "Mary Read". In the current issue we were on board the research ship and looked over the shoulder of the scientists.

We are still looking for volunteers for the experiments in the coming summer. One-week trips are planned, travel expenses are covered, and recognition in the form of non-cash prizes await. The potential participants should be experienced in navigation, but not yet know the area well. Interested parties should contact Ms. Müller-Plath directly.
