Devices that regularly require new energy are widely used on board. Smartphones alone need fresh juice every two or three days, notebooks and tablet PCs usually need more often. The flat-screen TV, the hair dryer, the microwave, and the espresso machine do not even make a sound without alternating current. The desire for a permanent 230 volt supply is growing all the time.
