Full comfort at anchor. Nowadays this often also requires an alternating current supply
Devices that regularly require new energy are widely used on board. Smartphones alone need fresh juice every two or three days, notebooks and tablet PCs usually need more often. The flat-screen TV, the hair dryer, the microwave, and the espresso machine do not even make a sound without alternating current. The desire for a permanent 230 volt supply is growing all the time.

Low-cost minimal solution: The inverter is connected to the 12-volt socket and supplies a maximum of one consumer with alternating current of 230 volts
The options for getting these on board range from a simple mobile inverter for little money to complex systems with a generator and solar cells for a truly land-independent supply of mains voltage. Of course, the budget also plays an important role.

Power from the locker: TVs, microwaves and the like drain the batteries quickly. They can be quickly recharged with a generator
In the new YACHT 12/2016 we will show you the different options. There are solutions for every budget.
