Everything went well: The new "coat of arms" is christened

It is done: after a three-year planning phase and a year of construction, the new one is punctually at the pier of the MarinEuropahafen in Bremen. The 16.80 meter long and 4.90 meter wide aluminum yacht has a draft of 2.70 meters and is equipped for worldwide travel. The motto of the new building could therefore also be: Sail globally - build regionally. Because the new "coat of arms" is a product of the region: once again Torsten Conradi from Judel / Vrolijk & Co from Bremerhaven is responsible for the construction. The Benjamin yacht builder from Emden manufactured the Alukasko, which was then expanded by Siemer Jachtservice in nearby Barßel.

Flagged over the top, the new "coat of arms" is waiting to be baptized

The spatial proximity to the shipyard and thus the possibility of closely accompanying the new building was particularly important to the building committee under the chairman and sailing master of SKWB Rudolf Olm. There were no catastrophes, however, because Olmund Conradi are a well-rehearsed team after three ships planned together: "It's always a long way", said Torsten Conradi in his speech, "but it went really well - also nervous!"

Great mood: Rudolf Olma, Torsten Conradi and Alexander Siemer after the baptism

Rudolf Olmist is also more than satisfied with the process: "We not only received a ship of the best quality, but also absolutely on time and within the budget!"

The new "coat of arms" will shortly start on its first big trip towards the Baltic Sea. Before that, some test and equipment trips will take place - and the YACHT will also go on board. You can read more about the "coat of arms of Bremen IV" in one of the next issues.
