The sporty update is now available for the types Oceanis 35.1, Oceanis 38.1 and Oceanis 41.1. The exact scope of the planned equipment bundle has now been announced by the manufacturer Beneteau. In the performance versions, the boats are essentially given a higher mast and, in addition, powerful laminate sails from Elvström Sails from Denmark. For this purpose, the boom is struck deeper on all boats in order to obtain even more sail area. With all three types, the effective sail area upwind increases by around 11 percent.

So that the sporty sailing plan can also be used efficiently, the performance ships also have a number of effective trim devices, for example a backstay with cascade adjustment, adjustable leash points and a bilateral mainsheet pull based on the German Cupper model. In addition, the higher masts are equipped with low-stretch shrouds made of Dyform wire, and the headsail is rolled up over a deeply attached flat furler.

With the performance package and the more powerful sail plan, the smaller types Oceanis 35.1 and 38.1 do not have the usual targa bar above the cockpit. The main sheet is sheeted directly into the cockpit. On the larger Oceanis 41.1, the targa bar can be left in place in both versions, standard or performance.

The performance package for the Oceanis 35.1 (basic price 114,121 euros gross) and for the Oceanis 38.1 (basic price 137,326 euros gross) is around 9,900 euros in both cases. For the Oceanis 41.1 (base price 176,953 euros), the sporty upgrade is also available for 11,138 euros.
