First lines: Dufour 36 Performance
Currently, the performance series, which runs alongside the successful cruiser series called Grand'Large, only consists of types 34, 40 and 45. They are good, fast, have often been victorious on the track, even on an international level, but they work older constructions back. In principle, the 34er dates back to 2004 and was last released as the 34 E with an open rear and a few other revisions.
Designer Umberto Felci: "We decided to build a faster, bigger, more stable and more comfortable yacht." How these goals will be achieved remains unclear in the first statements. There is talk of "numerous innovations that surprise in their function and modernity". The hull should show good balance and all-round properties. The waterline and the dynamic length should grow, the hull should get Chinese. A T-keel and deep rudder are designed to keep the center of gravity low and allow full control in all conditions.
The premiere date of the 36 performance has not yet been announced.
