At the traditional meeting of yacht owners, the main focus will again be Croatia, one of the most popular water sports areas for Germans in the Mediterranean. For example, experts will talk about freak weather such as the increased number of mini-tornadoes in the Mediterranean and the question of whether they can be reliably predicted.
The annual cult event, which is mainly attended by owners whose boats are in Croatia, is considered to be one of the most prestigious of its kind. Michael Sachweh, climate researcher from Munich, and Alexander Keul, meteorologist and social scientist, will give a lecture on the subject of "water pants". In addition to the weather, it will also be about the situation on the Croatian coast: the status of marina projects, new mooring options, future prospects and new rules for yacht owners. The event will be moderated by Martin Muth from the Mediterranean Information Center of the cruiser department. During the entire trade fair, he will also be in charge of the Mediterranean Information Center (MIC) in Hall B6, Stand 519. There, interested parties can find brochures and area guides and ask questions about chartering.
Opening times of the fair: from February 18 to 22, daily until 8 p.m., Wednesday until 6 p.m. The day ticket costs 9 euros, for members of the cruiser department on presentation of ID it costs 7 euros. The 4pm ticket costs 5 euros.
