No job? How about training as a sailing instructor? Together with the German Sailing Association (DSV), the Rostock water sports school has developed a corresponding further training concept for ALG II recipients.
The one-year full-time training is funded nationwide by the employment agencies. Good sailing skills or proof of membership in a DSV-recognized sailing club are required.
To prepare for the DSV sailing instructor license, all required certificates are acquired during the training. The six-week internship required for this, among other things, also takes place in a VDS or DSV-recognized sailing school. In practice, in addition to windsurfing and catamaran training, dinghy and yacht sailing is also on the schedule
Overall, the course creates all the legal requirements to be allowed to work internationally as a sailing instructor or at a DSV-recognized sailing school.
The chances of actually finding a job after the training are very good, according to the initiators of the measure. You expect a placement rate of 80 percent.
The course starts next April. Registration and more information by phone (0381) 2009 555 or by email to [email protected].
