School friends Sönke Roever and Helmut Adwiraah, then almost 30 years old, fulfilled their dream and circumnavigated the Baltic Sea on a sailing yacht in the summer of 2004.
Last spring, more than 10,000 people visited his picture show in northern Germany. DSönke Roever is planning to set off on a two-year trip to New Zealand with his wife Judith in May 2007. He will now be traveling through Germany for the last time with his picture show.
For their Baltic Sea trip, he and Helmut Adwiraah needed 148 days, visited nine countries and covered more than 3,500 nautical miles. Today they are both proud and happy that they dared to take this special trip.
