In September 2014, Cati and Johannes Erdmann cast off the lines to cross the Atlantic, sail through the Caribbean and discover the east coast of the US for themselves. Almost two years later, in August 2016, they returned.
While Johannes, as an experienced sailor, plunged into a new adventure, for Cati it was more of a jump into deep water. Living together in a very confined space and under sometimes harsh conditions at sea - is that the dream of getting out?

The ZDF reported about the start of the trip with all its problems and difficulties. But if the broadcaster did not want to produce a sequel, the couple quickly launched a crowdfunding campaign in order to raise enough money for a DVD production themselves - with success. Johannes and Cati recorded their journey in a moving video diary. In addition, they were accompanied by a camera team at various locations. The result is a film that shows what it's really like when you decide to live on a boat, at sea. The DVD "For Two at Sea - On a snaking course into a sailing adventure" is available from today in the Delius Klasing Verlag shop. It costs 24.90 euros.
