No sailing season without the YACHT's traditional photo competition - this year, too, our readers are called upon to demonstrate their skills in handling the camera. And this time the editorial team has come up with something very special.
This time we only want your best!
Of course, you can still produce and send recordings on your travels, but you should also go through your archive - we want the greatest sailing photo that you have ever taken.
There are no further restrictions for your selection. The photo can be romantic or fast, new or old, a snapshot or a composition, it can show an area or a yacht, the weather or the people - everything is allowed.
As always, the entries chosen by our experts as the best of the best will be rewarded with valuable and attractive prizes and presented in YACHT 22/07 and on YACHT online.
And these prizes are up for grabs:
1st Prize: A D-Lux 3, the digital compact from Leica. With 10 megapixels, image stabilizer, 2.8 “display and zoom (28 to 112 mm focal length in 35mm format). Value: 599 euros.
2nd prize: A camera phone N 73 from Nokia, the small all-rounder with a sophisticated design. With integrated 3.2 megapixel camera (variable focal length) and 6.1 cm display diagonal. Value: 459 euros.

The photo must include your name, address and telephone number. Send your favorite digital recording (it must never be post-processed) by e-mail to [email protected]. The receipt is confirmed automatically. A few rules must be observed when transmitting images in electronic form.
