Equal on points! The German Touring Yacht Club narrowly prevailed against the Überlingen sailing and motorboat club on the fourth of six league weekends off Travemünde. The decision about the stage win in the upper house of German sailing was only made in the last race on Sunday. Even gave Bayern a fifth place, while the Überlingen crew from Baden-Württemberg crossed the finish line in third place. With a total of 48 points each, at the end of the duel it was the two-time German champions from the DTYC who were able to cheer because they won four times in their 16 races, but the SMCÜ team only three times.
On the podium in front of Travemünde: The two-time champions from the German Touring Yacht Club are right at the top. Second and third place went to the Überlingen Sailing and Motorboat Club and the Potsdam Yacht Club
DTYC helmsman Julian Stückl, who made it to the competition with the league experienced Sebastian Bühler, newcomer Dominik Müller and Marco Tarabochischwer, said visibly relieved after the thriller final: "With the bad starts on the last day of the competition we risked our lead unnecessarily." The narrowly beaten Überlingers were also happy about the jump on the second podium and had exceeded their own expectations. SMCÜ helmsman Tino Mittelmeier, with Jan Fritze Alexander Gaiser and Frederik Schaal, said: "In our favorite conditions with few waves and ten knots of wind, we were able to achieve consistently good results and thus an absolute top position."
First and second division teams met on the weekend in front of Travemünde for exciting races. Little did they know how exciting it would be. Here is the final broadcast of the 3rd race day in full length
In the battle for the first division victory in front of Travemünde, they only had to admit defeat in the final and tied on points: the SMCÜ crew with helmsman Tino Mittelmeier

And it got even better for the men from Lake Constance, because with their success on the Baltic Sea they also took the lead in the standings ahead of Bayern and the North German RegattVerein, which had to be satisfied with ninth place before Travemünde and from first to third in the table fell back. Ranks three and four were secured by two Berlin clubs: the Potsdam Yacht Club (Freddy Eichhorst, Martin Metzing, Sebastian Freytag, Leander Kamm) and the Seglerhaus am Wannsee association (Jasper Wagner, AnnikBochmann, Max Salzwedel, Felix Bergemann). The Schweriner Yacht Club is at the bottom of the list, ahead of Travemünde, as well as in the first division table.

In the second division, the victorious sailors' association Itzhoe, the second-placed Schlei-Segel-Club and the Mühlenberger Segel-Club stormed the podium
The encounters in the 2nd Bundesliga were also extremely exciting, in which the Itzehoe sailing association with helmsman Julian Ramm, Oliver Lewin, Ole Harder and Moritz Burmeister against the Schlei-Segel-Club with Andreas Willim, Helge Homann, Suzanne Willim and Henning Sohn and the third-placed Mühlenberger Segel-Club with its young dream team Magnus Simon, Till Krüger, Finn Olsen and Anton Schroeder prevailed. This means that the SVI crew will start the second division final, which will be held in Glücksburg from August 18 to 20, as leaders of the table. With a total of only ten points in the league account and six points ahead of the second-placed Flensburger-Segel-Club and the Academic Sailing Club Warnemünde, the Itzehoers can already look forward to promotion to the 1st Bundesliga.
