From February 14th to 17th, 2008, boot Sachsen will take place on the traditional exhibition grounds agrin Leipzig on approx. 20,000 square meters.
The main topics of the new season opening fair in the south-east of Leipzig are, in addition to the presentation of inland motor and sailing yachts, the trend sports diving, fishing, canoeing & kayaking as well as surfing.
Water tourism offers also make you want to plan your vacation for the next water sports season. In good time before the boats and yachts are slipped off, skippers find out everything they need to have a carefree start, from yacht colors to clothing, safety equipment and literature to a dinghy or a new outboard motor.
For bargain hunters: You will get your money's worth on the new used boat and accessories market. Selling is also worthwhile: if you want, you can sell your floating pedestal for a small fee (contract is concluded directly between buyer and seller, delivery / collection at your own risk and expense).
Visitor program: Recognized specialists from the water sports industry hold specialist lectures on water sports areas, boat insurance, charter issues and many aspects of water tourism in the "boot Sachsen - Forum". A sailing and trim seminar will give ambitious cruising sailors tips on how to make up places at the next club competition. Boot Sachsen's opening times: Thursday, February 14th to Sunday, February 17th, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entrance fees: Adults pay 8 euros for a day ticket. Children up to the age of six have free entry when accompanied by an adult. Reductions: 5 euros upon presentation of appropriate proof. Groups of 15 or more visitors pay 5 euros per person. Evening rate (from 4 p.m.): 4 euros. School classes that boot Sachsen accompanied by a teacher on Thursday, 14th or Friday, 15th February visit, pay one euro per child.
