That was over ten years ago and today the ex-model builders, who have now matured into real experts for classic yachts, spend every free minute in the half-finished 1: 1 replica of their last model. "Tringa" is an open keelboat of the 19/24 foot unit class popular around a hundred years ago on the Scottish Clyde.
The woodworms estimate 1500 working hours for their work, just as much as the last three models devoured. However, these were no longer kits. With the meticulousness of old boat builders, they made remote-controlled replicas of classic eights of the master William Fife III.
